We’re thrilled to bring Krames (NYC) to Montreal’s Coda Social Club.
If you don’t know Krames here’s some info about him:
KRAMES is a DJ with an open ear and a passion for rocking the party. He plays a banging mix of club music, parking lot anthems, and the jams you love—he gets hands in the air and people on stage. In 2000 he started performing in Richmond at clubs which quickly led to throwing parties, hosting radio shows, and releasing mixes. By 2005 Krames was a fixture. He teamed up with longtime friend Nick “the Duke” Martin to bring monthly mayhem to the dance floor with their Cobra Kai parties, based out of Richmond, Virginia and New York City. He’s shared the stage with DJ Ayres, DJ AM, M.I.A., Switch, Sinden, Klever, Flosstradamus, The Cool Kids, Scottie B, Devlin & Darko, Steve Aoki, Tittsworth, Oxy Cottontail, Blaqstarr, and Fool’s Gold Records’ founder Nick Catchdubs. He recently toured 16 North American cities including Vancouver, LA, Miami, Chicago & Atlanta.
Apart from DJing, Krames has hosted and mixed for radio shows including Spin FM in Dublin, Ireland, Fader magazine’s “The Let Out”, and “In-Deed” on XM Radio.
Krames’ excitement about music is most apparent in his newest work. He has a new EP out on Flamin’ Hotz Records entitled ‘Cracker Jackin’ featuring tracks such as ‘What More Time’ – which was number one on Hype Machine for five days straight. Before that, his “Dishwasher Safe” EP was featured in the top ten on Turntable Lab for two consecutive months. Currently his work is featured on mixtapes by the likes of Diplo, Crookers, Stretch Armstrong and DJ Benzi.
Krames lives in Brooklyn, New York and will be conquering a dance floor near you very soon.

Opening the night will be Rooftopfistfights (132 BPM) and Girl Problems.

There are a lot of electro nights in Montreal. I’m not complaining.
Between Justin and me, we’ve gone to enough to call the electro scene home. But it doesn’t feel like it: no pictures, no home videos, no bookshelves…
That’s where HGHLY TGGBL comes in. We’re taking everything you love about house parties and bringing it to Coda. Or Blue Dog. Or the SAT… you get the picture.
We want to feel like we’re at home — or at a friend’s home — when we go out. I’m sure you do too: familiar faces coupled with not-so-familiar ones, a laissez-faire attitude, and loads of good music. What’s not to like?
